There’s a danger in revisiting a song you loved when you were 14. This song serves as my example. 15 years later this song is 100% less fun and 1,000,000% more creepy and weird. Now that I know things like sex offending exists, I no longer question why sampling children’s songs didn’t really take off.

Moe Pope + Headnodic + Björk = Danger Björk
This is the only form of Björk I will listen to. This entire album is killer, they ever so flawlessly incorporate her over their beats. The emphasis on the scratching in this particular song, however, sounds too digital, makes me question its authenticity. Regardless, this song and album are bombest. If you don’t like the Björk bit listen to their album Megaphone, it has a crisper sound and deeper beat than these tracks.
